I am a registered dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council (UK), the Commission on Dietetic Registration (USA) and the Health Professions Council (SA). I am a member of the British Dietetic Association (UK) and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (USA).

I aim to use my knowledge, clinical skills and expertise as an Allergy Specialist Dietitian to educate those dealing with food allergic conditions to the best of my abilities. I hope to improve the quality of life of those suffering from food allergies, by providing guidance on foods that should be avoided, but most importantly, those that can be eaten.

I also have an interest in the prevention of allergic diseases and will provide up to date information, recognizing that guidance on disease prevention is often changed when new information come to light.

As a responsible clinician, I aim to use social media and my blog articles with integrity. I will keep my knowledge up to date and provide academic references for information provided where possible.

The products I feature or advertise in my blogs or recipes are to websites where ‘free from products’ information can be obtained. In same cases, I may receive a small commission. I do not endorse any health information on any websites that I link or refer to. All of the products on this website have been tried and tested by myself, my family and sometimes by my clients. I will not feature any products which had a predominantly negative review elsewhere.

This is website is not intended to:

  • Diagnose or refute a diagnosis of food allergies; this can only be done by a Medical Doctor
  • Replace individualized dietary advice given by a Registered Dietitian
  • Stop anyone from reading food labels with diligence
  • Give guaranteed advice for the prevention of allergic disease

Any personal opinions expressed on this website are my own. The intent of this website is only to offer information of a general nature and I can take no responsibility for anyone reading this  website’s actions.
